Job Description
A User Experience Researcher at Celonis will conduct user research to understand behaviors and needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform product design, and help create intuitive and valuable process mining solutions within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary research to understand user needs through methods such as interviews, field studies, surveys, and usability testing.
- Analyze user behavior and motivations using various research techniques including ethnography, logs analysis, and online experiments.
- Lead strategic research initiatives to identify new product opportunities and inform product design and development.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to prioritize research activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate research findings effectively through reports and presentations to diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of software or related industry experience within a UX research setting
- Experience utilizing various research design methods such as usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, and other research techniques
- Experience leading strategic research efforts and integrating user research into product designs
- Ability to understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research
- Comfortable working in a highly-technical environment and engaging with quantitative stakeholders to understand quantitative findings and materials
- Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and organizational levels
