Job Description
An internship role within Celonis's sustainability product team, focusing on developing and enhancing sustainability-related software solutions, analyzing data, and supporting product development to drive environmental and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend existing sustainability products by developing new functions, fixing bugs, and building test frameworks using Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, SQL, PQL, and Python.
- Support the development of the Product Carbon Footprint App and explore data availability from source systems like SAP, Oracle, and Workday.
- Build data pipelines for data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation to support sustainability use cases.
- Develop prototypes for new use cases utilizing advanced technologies such as AI.
- Translate user stories into actionable development tasks focusing on user requirements, journey, and interface.
- Assist in executing initiatives related to customer support, knowledge base, and documentation for the sustainability product team.
Requirements
- Studying in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field.
- Skills in Python for scripting and data manipulation.
- Skills in SQL.
- Basic understanding and curiosity for data science concepts and technologies.
- Basic understanding of relational databases.
- Passionate about helping customers solve business and sustainability challenges.
- Intellectually curious, with a willingness to learn and continuously seek self-improvement.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking and analytical mindset with a preference to solve problems pragmatically and with high quality.
- Ability to collaborate, partner, and work effectively and smoothly in a hyper-growth company in an international team, including remote collaboration.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Full-time availability from June 1st to August 7th, 2026.
- Located in Madrid.
