Job Description
The Senior Value Engineer at Celonis is a trusted advisor responsible for helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize value through process intelligence and data-driven transformation, involving value assessments, process optimization, stakeholder management, and platform adoption across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Conduct value assessments and facilitate workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis platform as a core business transformation tool
- Provide feedback to product teams to enhance the platform and develop new use cases
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years working experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and or respective Software deployment.
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a Consultancy or Business Software SaaS Provider, or in an Inhouse role e.g. Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders.
- Sales acumen, sovereign and winning appearance.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications e.g. SAP, experience with implementing AI agents such as IBM Watson Orchestrate, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, RPA, or BI Tools, or building Dashboards or Apps Action Flows.
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Advanced industry expertise in the healthcare sector, with a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities of the C-Suite, and build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence roadmap.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
- Good understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain function and/or strategic transformation initiatives e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Degree in Industrial Business Engineering, Technology and/or Management, Informatics, Mathematics, or similar.
- Ability to travel mainly domestically up to 35%.
