Job Description
A strategic and technical leadership role responsible for managing and architecting cross-functional programs within Celonis' India engineering hub, focusing on process intelligence, data integration, and platform services, while bridging global teams and establishing scalable operational frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact Process Intelligence programs including Data Integration, Task Mining, and GenAI.
- Architect the operating system and scalable frameworks for the India engineering hub, including quarterly planning and roadmap operations.
- Act as a strategic bridge between India-based engineering teams and global leadership, aligning cross-domain strategies.
- Contribute to technical programs by challenging architectural assumptions and ensuring reliability and scalability of distributed systems.
- Identify unknown risks early and design mitigation strategies for complex, undefined problems.
- Mentor engineering leads and TPMs, and automate processes to accelerate delivery.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Management, or Senior Software Engineering, with ideally 7 years in cloud-based software companies.
- Experience working in environments where the path isn’t clear and creating structure out of ambiguity.
- A background in software development or systems architecture, with the ability to confidently discuss API contracts, microservices, and database scaling with Staff Engineers, and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Experience managing complex programs across multiple time zones and geographies, with the ability to build influence without being in the same room and synthesize complex status updates for Executive Leadership.
- Ability to take a vague, ambiguous problem statement and break it down into a clear, execution-ready roadmap with milestones and owners.
