Job Description
The Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer at Celonis is responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premises infrastructure, developing metrics and dashboards, and supporting proactive security measures to safeguard the company's technology assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability scans across network, cloud, and application domains
- Interpret and triage findings from various security tools such as network scanners, CSPM, SCA, and SAST
- Provide actionable intelligence and prioritization metrics for remediation teams
- Develop and maintain an asset inventory for dynamic vulnerability scanning
- Create vulnerability metrics and dashboards for executive reporting
- Participate in Red Team exercises to identify potential vulnerabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years in a dedicated vulnerability management role
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and cloud architectures
- Excellent scripting skills in Python or Bash for custom vulnerability identification
- Hands-on experience with premium vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Nessus, or similar
- Strong proficiency in Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools like Prisma, Dome9, or similar
- Expertise in interpreting Static Application Security Testing (SAST) results from tools like Checkmarx or Veracode
- Ability to execute comprehensive vulnerability scans across various technological domains including network, cloud, and applications
- Ability to interpret and triage findings from network scanners, CSPM, Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and SAST
- Ability to develop and maintain an asset inventory for dynamic scanning requirements
- Ability to create executive-level vulnerability metrics and dashboards
- Participation in Red Team exercises to identify potential vulnerabilities proactively
