Job Description
A ServiceNow Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions across various ServiceNow modules, supporting internal operations, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize platform performance and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, and maintain features across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, HAM, and Procurement
- Support day-to-day platform administration including user and group management, ACLs, catalog items, flows, and service portal components
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical issues on the ServiceNow platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions
- Assist in planning and executing small to mid-sized projects and platform enhancements
- Automate processes, maintain data integrity, and ensure platform standards are followed
- Participate in testing, QA, and release management activities
- Work with integrations using REST, SOAP, or IntegrationHub
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow as a Developer or Administrator.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- At least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is preferred.
- Experience with core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, or Asset Management.
- Solid understanding of scripting languages including JavaScript, Glide, and Flow Designer, as well as business rules.
- Experience working with integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, or IntegrationHub.
- Basic knowledge of system performance, ACLs, and platform security.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
