Job Description
A Senior Product Designer specializing in automation and orchestration, responsible for creating intuitive user experiences for process automation products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating customer needs into effective design solutions within a leading Process Intelligence platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver intuitive user experiences for process automation products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore problem spaces and understand customer needs.
- Create product strategy, define UX/UI requirements, and develop prototypes and designs.
- Translate user needs into effective automation and orchestration solutions.
- Own the user experience of key product areas, ensuring designs are user-centered and accessible.
- Contribute to and utilize design systems in Figma to maintain consistency and quality.
- Identify pain points, ideate solutions, and improve overall design maturity.
- Work with engineering teams to implement and refine designs using cutting-edge technologies and AI.
- Mentor and guide less experienced designers when acting as a team lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Communication Design, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, collaborating within software development teams.
- In-depth knowledge of interaction design, usability engineering, testing methodologies, and gestalt principles, with the ability to effectively communicate how these factors impact design decisions.
- Experience applying usability principles and techniques through various stages of product development including requirements gathering, user journey mapping, creating lo-fi and hi-fi wireframes, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
- Experience working with and contributing to Design Systems in Figma.
- Strong empathy for users, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and excellent analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for user-centered design within and across teams to improve product usability.
- Understanding of accessibility standards to ensure designs are inclusive for all users.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.
