A Senior Workday HCM Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting HR systems and processes within Workday, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize HR technology solutions and ensure alignment with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver scalable features for Workday HCM and related modules
Gather requirements, propose solutions, and support cross-functional needs
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical issues
Evaluate and improve existing solutions with technical enhancements
Collaborate with teams to design and implement cross-platform solutions and integrations
Mentor peers on best practices, functionality, and dependencies
Requirements
3-5 years of hands-on technical experience in Workday HCM, with specialization in one or more functional areas
Advanced-level knowledge of Workday business process configuration, security, report writing, calculated fields, and EIBs
Demonstrated capacity to quickly grasp and support multiple functional areas within Workday HCM
Strong business acumen with the ability to engage stakeholders and understand their needs
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex Workday functionality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to troubleshooting and resolving incidents, service requests, and technical issues on the platform
