Job Description
The Senior Value Engineer at Celonis is a trusted advisor responsible for helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize value using the Process Intelligence Platform. The role involves translating customer objectives into business cases, conducting value assessments, facilitating workshops, and driving platform adoption and expansion across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Conduct value assessments and facilitate business value workshops
- Identify and qualify opportunities for process improvement using Celonis platform
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core business transformation platform
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on new use cases
Requirements
- Full responsibility for the end-to-end value journey of customers, including landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing.
- Translate customers' objectives into value assessments or proof-of-value projects.
- Build specific Celonis business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices.
- Undertake Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.
- Facilitate business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement.
- Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
- Build a strategic expansion roadmap for customers embedding Celonis Process Intelligence as a strategic business transformation platform in their organization.
- Drive adoption and expansion of the platform within customer organizations.
- Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and Apps based on new use cases.
- Experience in an analytical role demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment.
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role such as a Center of Excellence for Data Mining, Analytics, or Intelligence within an enterprise.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), with experience in implementing RPA, BI tools, or building dashboards, apps, and action flows.
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
- Experience collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple projects at different stages of the value journey, leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and native-level proficiency in French.
- Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain, as well as strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Industry expertise in one or more industries such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals, with the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
- A degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable degree program.
