Job Description
The Senior System Engineer at Celonis is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's global IT infrastructure, automating processes, and supporting internal IT systems across cloud and on-premises environments, with a focus on automation, security, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the global IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premises systems.
- Resolve 2nd level IT support tickets raised by internal employees.
- Identify and proactively create maintenance tasks for IT infrastructure.
- Lead automation initiatives within Internal IT, focusing on Azure, Entra ID, and related systems.
- Manage Google Workspace platform, including directory services and scripting.
- Collaborate on small IT infrastructure projects.
- Manage and support collaboration tools such as Slack, O365, Google Workspace, and Zoom.
Requirements
- 7 years experience in administering and maintaining a SaaS, cloud, on-prem and clients environment comprising of Azure including, but not limited to, Entra ID, Identity Governance, Defender APIs, Powershell scripting Windows 10 11, Windows Server 2019 2022, Linux, Mac OS, iOS
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 including Teams, Google Workspace, and Cloud Platform
- Structured troubleshooting and escalation to vendors
- Experience in global infrastructure management including on-prem and Cloud providers
- Experience in automation of processes in highlighted areas
- IT project management skills, evaluation of new technologies and presentation to Senior Management
- Administration and use of GitHub repositories
- Knowledge of TCP IP networks including, but not limited to, DNS, DHCP, routing, SSL
- Willingness to work in a shift-based model to ensure global coverage and timely support
- Ability to act cross-functionally in different system areas, ensuring alignment with global IT processes
- Ability to work independently and organize work for oneself and others
- Experience in developing configurations independently and target-oriented
- Solid understanding of ITIL ITSM processes
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with a clear focus on the sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with international teams and vendors
