Job Description
The Senior System Engineer at Celonis is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's global IT infrastructure, automating processes, resolving technical issues, and supporting various cloud and on-premise systems to ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the global IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud environments.
- Resolve 2nd level IT support tickets raised by internal employees.
- Proactively identify and create maintenance tasks for IT infrastructure and resolve them.
- Manage automation initiatives within Internal IT, focusing on Azure, Entra ID, and related systems.
- Manage Google Workspace platform, including directory services and scripting.
- Lead small IT infrastructure projects independently.
- Troubleshoot and escalate infrastructure issues to vendors as needed.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in administering and maintaining a SaaS, cloud, on-premises, and client environment comprising of Azure including, but not limited to, Entra ID, Identity Governance, Defender APIs, and PowerShell scripting.
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing global infrastructure including on-premises and Cloud providers.
- Seven (7) years of experience in automation of processes in the highlighted areas.
- Experience in IT project management, evaluation of new technologies, and presentation to Senior Management.
- Proficiency in administration and use of GitHub repositories.
- Experience with TCP/IP networks including, but not limited to, DNS, DHCP, routing, and SSL.
- Ability to resolve 2nd level IT tickets raised by internal employees and collaborate with international IT Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.
- Proactive identification and creation of necessary maintenance tasks related to IT infrastructure and resolving them.
- Ability to work independently on small IT infrastructure related projects.
- Willingness to work in a shift-based model to ensure global coverage and timely support.
