Job Description
The Senior System Engineer at Celonis is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's global IT infrastructure, automating processes, resolving technical issues, and supporting various IT systems and platforms to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the global IT infrastructure, including cloud, on-premises, and client environments.
- Resolve 2nd level IT support tickets raised by internal employees and collaborate with the IT Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.
- Identify and proactively create maintenance tasks related to IT infrastructure and resolve them.
- Manage automation of IT processes, including Azure, Entra ID, and related systems.
- Manage Google Workspace platform, including directory services and scripting.
- Lead small IT infrastructure projects independently.
- Troubleshoot and escalate infrastructure issues to vendors as needed.
Requirements
- 7 years experience in administering and maintaining a SaaS, cloud, on-prem, and clients environment comprising of Azure including, but not limited to, Entra ID, Identity Governance, Defender APIs, Powershell scripting, Windows 10, 11, Windows Server 2019, 2022, Linux, Mac OS, iOS.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 including Teams, Google Workspace, and Cloud Platform.
- Structured troubleshooting and escalation to vendors.
- Experience in global infrastructure management including on-premises and Cloud providers.
- Experience in automation of processes in highlighted areas.
- IT project management skills, evaluation of new technologies, and presentation to Senior Management.
- Administration and use of GitHub repositories.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks including, but not limited to, DNS, DHCP, routing, SSL.
- Willingness to work in a shift-based model to ensure global coverage and timely support.
