Job Description
A Senior Frontend Engineer at Celonis is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks like Angular, to create user-friendly experiences that enhance the company's Process Intelligence Platform and impact global business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and scale large, complex frontend features
- Lead architectural decisions and propose platform initiatives
- Own product discussions and contribute to roadmap planning
- Mentor and grow engineering team members
- Write clean, testable, and high-performance code
- Build, launch, and maintain features in production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide design feedback
- Share knowledge and actively contribute to organizational improvements
Requirements
- Six (6) years of experience designing and building frontend web applications with a modern web framework, with Angular preferred.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript programming languages.
- Experience with HTML5 and SCSS for frontend development.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving large, complex projects.
- Expertise in optimizing and enhancing the performance of large-scale applications.
- Deep understanding of architectural design and its impact on large-scale applications.
- Strong communication skills allowing collaboration across business and technical domains.
- Experience working in monorepos with Git.
- Knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Commitment to Accessibility (a11y) standards.
- Experience with internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) of user interfaces for an international audience.
