Job Description
The Senior Process Intelligence and Automation Consultant (Senior Value Engineer) is a trusted advisor responsible for helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform by identifying opportunities, building business cases, facilitating workshops, and driving platform adoption and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact use cases and value assessments
- Build demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks to support customer acquisition
- Conduct value assessments and proof-of-value projects to communicate strategic value to stakeholders
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
- Derive and initiate process improvement measures and enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis platform as a core business transformation tool
- Provide feedback to product teams for platform and app enhancements based on customer use cases
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role such as a Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP, with experience in implementing RPA and/or BI Tools, and/or building Dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows.
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, managing multiple projects at different stages of the value journey, and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally, with excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain, as well as strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Ideally, expertise in one or more industries such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals, with the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
- A degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable degree program.
