Job Description
The role involves managing the strategy, setup, and execution of event technology systems for large-scale global events, focusing on registration processes, attendee engagement, and seamless integration with marketing tools to create memorable and efficient event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategy, setup, and execution of event technology systems, focusing on registration experience.
- Manage the setup, development, and maintenance of the Event App and support attendee engagement features.
- Lead the end-to-end setup and technical health of registration environments across multiple large-scale events.
- Architect and manage data flows between registration platforms and the broader MarTech stack to ensure data accuracy.
- Own the technical roadmap and execution of the Event App to enhance attendee engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless event technology integration and delivery.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in event technology or marketing operations with large-scale corporate events, conferences, and or broadcast streaming productions, specifically within a high-growth tech environment or a global enterprise.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a Workstream Owner, managing complex project timelines and collaborating with cross-functional leads.
- Expert-level proficiency in enterprise registration platforms e.g., Cvent, RainFocus, Bizzabo, Swoogo, including the ability to design complex logic, conditional flows, and multi-track registration frameworks.
- Deep understanding of the MarTech stack, including experience in architecting and maintaining seamless data synchronizations between event tools and CRMs, Marketing Automation systems, and Analytics tools.
- Full-lifecycle ownership of native Event Apps, including configuring interactive features, managing content updates, and optimizing UI/UX for attendee engagement.
- Technical knowledge of on-site deployment, including high-volume badge printing, lead retrieval systems, and connectivity requirements.
- Experience designing frictionless, personalized user flows for the Customer Journey from pre-event marketing to post-event follow-up.
- Experience implementing AI-driven matchmaking, gamification, and interactive engagement tools in event technology.
- Ability to act as a consultant to internal teams, translating business goals into technical requirements.
- Experience in managing and leading digital or hybrid events end-to-end, including physical event organization, execution, and measurement (preferred but not mandatory).
- Superb presentation and communication skills for presenting event tech strategy to internal executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong sense of leadership and ownership for initiatives, projects, and team management.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders at a high-growth company.
- Calm, decisive operational skills on event days to prioritize, communicate, and solve problems quickly with minimal disruption.
- Willingness to travel to be on-site for major events.
- Willingness to work remotely across time zones occasionally, supporting global events through virtual meetings during off hours.
