Job Description
A Product Designer at Celonis is responsible for creating intuitive, data-driven user experiences that help users understand and optimize business processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, test, and refine solutions within the company's Process Intelligence Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end workflows for building, analyzing, and optimizing business processes
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to simplify complex data and automation logic
- Contribute to and maintain the design system for consistency across products
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define problems and deliver user-centered solutions
- Validate and refine designs through research and testing to improve user experience
- Present design work, rationale, and process clearly to stakeholders
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and experimentation
- Share learnings and review work collaboratively with other designers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Communication Design, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, collaborating in cross-functional software development teams.
- Understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and user research methods.
- Experience applying usability principles and techniques through some stages of product development including requirements gathering, user journey mapping, creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
- Ability to translate complex data and workflows into clear, elegant, and usable designs.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Design Systems.
- Strong empathy for users, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to advocate for user-centered design within teams to improve product usability.
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to explain design decisions thoughtfully and persuasively.
