The role involves acting as a strategic insurance expert to drive value realization through process mining and AI solutions, helping clients optimize their insurance operations and achieve measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the lead architect for insurance accounts, translating operational challenges into value drivers
Develop and communicate data-backed business cases demonstrating the financial impact of Process Intelligence
Lead value workstreams for pilots and implementations, ensuring effective monitoring of operational resilience
Guide customers on using the Celonis Sensing Layer to enhance AI and automation in claims and policy servicing
Identify and qualify opportunities for process improvements through workshops and systemic challenge resolution
Scale best practices and reusable assets within the Value Engineering team
Act as a senior resource and mentor for team members, sharing insurance domain expertise
Provide feedback to product teams to enhance platform capabilities for the insurance industry
Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including adoption, expansion, and renewal strategies
Build strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core business transformation platform
Requirements
Deep Industry Experience: 10 years of relevant experience, ideally combining time at a Carrier Reinsurer with Management Consulting or Sales Engineering, with a strong understanding of the inner workings of an insurance company.
Domain Expertise: Possess granular knowledge of the insurance value chain, specifically in Claims Triage Settlement, Underwriting Risk Selection, and Distribution.
Value Realization Skills: Proven track record of identifying operational inefficiencies and driving them to resolution, with the ability to impact the P&L Loss Ratio and Expense Ratio through process improvement.
Technical Fluency: Understanding of the modern insurance technology stack, including Guidewire, Duck Creek, and how new technologies such as AI and GenAI interact with legacy systems.
Stakeholder Management Experience: Ability to present to and work with senior stakeholders, navigate complex internal structures, and clearly communicate value to non-technical audiences.
Builder Mentality: Comfortable working with ambiguity, setting own direction within an account team, and achieving results independently.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Engineering, or Mathematics.
