Job Description
The role involves leading and transforming global People Operations processes, standardizing HR practices across regions, managing a team of People Partners, and driving operational excellence and compliance to enhance the employee experience at Celonis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the global People Partners Team Tier 2, providing coaching and performance management.
- Design and implement a unified, scalable Global Support Model for HR services.
- Standardize and document all Tier 2 operational processes and playbooks across regions.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality, efficient Tier 2 support.
- Identify and lead process optimization projects to improve operational efficiency and leverage technology.
- Collaborate with People Systems team to incorporate process requirements into system design and automation.
- Oversee development and maintenance of Tier 2 knowledge resources and communication practices.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to embed regulatory and labor compliance into processes.
- Lead change management initiatives for new processes and service model transitions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective process execution and policy guidance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in People Operations, Shared Services, or a related field, with a significant portion of that time spent in a global or multi-regional capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale HR process transformation.
- Proven ability to translate high-level business strategy into tactical, standardized, and scalable HR operational processes.
- Advanced proficiency with Workday HRIS and previous experience with case management platforms.
- Expert ability to define and interpret key operational metrics.
- Exceptional ability to partner, influence, and build trust with diverse, senior-level stakeholders across cross-functional departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex operational and compliance topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven skills in change management methodology, communication planning, and driving adoption of new processes within a complex, globally distributed organization.
- Ability to collaborate closely with the People Systems team to ensure Tier 2 process requirements are reflected in system design, such as ServiceNow routing and Workday self-service features, and to drive automation opportunities.
- Experience in overseeing the development and maintenance of knowledge resources and ensuring consistency between the knowledge base, communication, and delivery practices.
- Partnering with Legal and People Compliance teams to integrate regulatory and labor compliance requirements into standardized processes to minimize regional inconsistencies and policy breaches.
- Leading change management activities related to new global processes and service model changes to ensure immediate adoption and high-quality service continuity.
- Acting as a key liaison with functional experts to ensure effective process execution and consistent guidance on policies and programs.
