Job Description
The role involves leading a team of Value Engineers to drive end-to-end customer value journeys, helping clients realize strategic benefits from Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, and fostering customer success, growth, and renewal through strategic consulting and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Value Engineers to drive end-to-end customer value journeys
- Identify, frame, and deliver value to customers by translating strategic objectives into high-impact use cases
- Own the customer value lifecycle, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal of accounts
- Communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives and stakeholders
- Support deployment of new features, products, and strategic growth initiatives to create value
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships as an executive sponsor
- Conduct Quarterly and Executive Business Reviews to communicate results and value realization
- Recruit, develop, and mentor talent within the Value Engineering team
- Allocate resources effectively to meet sales, renewal, and value targets
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to accelerate value realization and customer success
Requirements
- Lead a team of Value Engineers and drive end-to-end customer value journeys, including responsibility for landing, expanding, adoption, and renewing accounts.
- Translate customers' strategic objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases and evangelize Process Intelligence across prospects and customers.
- Communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives in partnership with sales leadership and Celonis executives.
- Serve as an executive sponsor across the customer portfolio and solidify Celonis as a strategic business transformation platform for customers.
- Lead customers through the Celonis Value Journey, support the deployment of new features, apps, and products across the customer base, and advance strategic growth programs in pursuit of value creation.
- Ensure customer success by architecting improvement measures and managing change within the customer base, while pioneering new methodologies within the Celonis Value Engineering organization.
- Direct Celonis Value Engineering, Services, and Ecosystem resources through the Celonis Customer Value Journey, creating durable value for customers.
- Take ownership and build strategic customer relationships as an executive sponsor.
- Host Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) to communicate results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
- Recruit the next-generation of Celonis Value Engineers, develop world-class talent through hands-on engagement, continuous feedback, and active mentorship.
- Demonstrate deep process and industry knowledge with a proven consulting skill set and strong analytical abilities.
- Possess domain expertise in business areas such as Finance or Supply Chain, with experience in strategic transformation initiatives like Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation, and ability to build a compelling value roadmap for the customer.
- Demonstrate industry expertise with a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic challenges faced by the C-Suite, and build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence roadmap.
- Have experience guiding customer IT teams throughout their Celonis Process Intelligence journey, including building dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows to accelerate value realization.
- Plan and manage project scope, expectations, and timelines, leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem where possible.
- Have experience preparing and communicating results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Follow the Celonis value selling methodology throughout the customer journey, including discovery, qualification, value assessment, and Proof of Value (PoV) presentations, demonstrating the full value potential of Celonis Process Intelligence.
- Proven track record of identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement measures, and establishing operating models to realize value, renew, and expand subscriptions with Celonis.
- Demonstrate the ability to qualify all Value Engineering engagements, do discovery with customers directly, allocate resources efficiently, and champion the value selling methodology.
- Proven leadership ability to lead by example, including being hands-on with teams and serving as a role model for the organization.
