Job Description
The Lead Applied Value Engineer at Celonis is responsible for working with strategic customers to identify, develop, and demonstrate AI-driven process improvement solutions that deliver measurable business value, while managing the entire customer value journey and driving platform adoption and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos to demonstrate platform value
- Engage with senior stakeholders to deliver value-driven results and secure partnerships
- Identify and translate strategic priorities into high-impact use cases
- Facilitate value workshops and qualify opportunities for process improvements
- Present results and realized value to senior management and executives
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including adoption and expansion
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis platform as a transformation tool
- Provide feedback to product teams for platform and app enhancements
Requirements
- Nine (9) years of experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or alternatively in an Inhouse role such as Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP and Oracle, with experience in implementing RPA and/or BI Tools and/or building Dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows.
- Hands-on experience with Process Mining tools and technologies is preferred.
- Hands-on SQL experience and Python experience is preferred.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying business use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Domain and industry knowledge such as Supply Chain, Finance, CPG, BFSI, Manufacturing, etc., would be a plus.
- Project management experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, including managing multiple projects at different stages of the value journey and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
