Job Description
The role involves leading a frontend engineering team to develop and enhance process mining visualization components within Celonis' Process Intelligence Platform, driving innovation and delivering scalable, user-friendly solutions to improve business process analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the frontend engineering team in Madrid to achieve defined goals
- Design, develop, and deliver robust full stack applications and libraries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful product functionalities
- Guide and mentor engineers, fostering professional growth and performance management
- Ensure transparency of team activities to leadership and stakeholders
- Develop and enhance visualization components for process mining and business analysis
- Drive technical trade-offs to optimize implementation speed, scalability, and performance
- Shape the product roadmap by translating customer needs into technical solutions
- Resolve conflicting priorities and establish a predictable product development roadmap
- Transform the engineering team into a hub of excellence and talent development
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in an Engineering Manager or technical leadership role, guiding both projects and teams.
- Advanced technical expertise, equivalent to staff engineer level in software engineering.
- Proven experience with technologies such as Angular, Monorepo, Microfrontend architecture, Postgres, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams across various functions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies for daily team organization.
- Capable of providing leadership and making key decisions to drive strategic direction.
- Skilled in resolving technical conflicts and promoting a positive escalation environment.
- Willing to actively support the team through hands-on assistance.
