Job Description
An Engineering Manager role responsible for leading a team of engineers in developing and maintaining scalable, reliable orchestration automation systems using modern technologies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and guide a team of up to 12 engineers, supporting their professional growth and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, UX, SRE, and QE to deliver end-to-end solutions with high availability and reliability.
- Shape the team's technical roadmap and contribute to development across frontend, backend, or platform areas.
- Ensure the systems adhere to modern standards and best practices through technical guidance.
- Support the delivery of robust orchestration automation solutions across the entire technology stack.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in an Engineering Manager or technical leadership role, guiding both projects and teams.
- Advanced technical expertise, equivalent to staff engineer level in software engineering.
- Proven experience with technologies such as Java Spring Boot, Angular, Microfrontend architecture, Postgres, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams across various functions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies for daily team organization.
- Capable of providing leadership and making key decisions to drive strategic direction.
- Skilled in resolving technical conflicts and promoting a positive escalation environment.
- Willing to actively support the team through hands-on assistance.
