Job Description

A Business Development Representative at Celonis is responsible for identifying and developing new enterprise business opportunities, evangelizing the Process Intelligence Platform, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to drive growth within defined territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and create new enterprise business opportunities within assigned accounts and verticals.
  • Act as a champion for the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, demonstrating its capabilities and value to customers.
  • Use modern tools and strategies to prospect and connect with prospective clients via cold calls, emails, and social channels.
  • Generate sales pipeline by setting up qualified meetings and expanding relationships with existing customers.
  • Own and manage a defined territory, developing new accounts and maximizing market potential.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define account strategies, promote campaigns, and follow up on leads.
  • Support complex sales cycles by engaging multiple lines of business within enterprise accounts to build support and consensus.

Requirements

  • Have a BA BS from a top university or equivalent.
  • Possess 1-3 Years of sales experience or business development experience in a SaaS organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders and tell a compelling story.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A results-driven attitude with a strong desire to compete and exceed targets.
  • Highly coachable and eager to learn.
  • This role requires working in a hybrid environment with employees expected to be in-office 3 days per week.
