Job Description

A Business Development Representative at Celonis is responsible for identifying and creating new enterprise business opportunities, evangelizing the Process Intelligence Platform, and building a robust sales pipeline through strategic prospecting and account management in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and create new enterprise business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Act as a champion for the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, demonstrating its value to customers
  • Use modern tools and strategies to prospect and connect with prospective clients via cold calls, email, and social channels
  • Generate sales pipeline by setting up qualified meetings and expanding customer relationships
  • Own and manage a defined territory, developing new accounts and growing existing accounts
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define account strategies and promote campaigns
  • Support complex sales cycles by engaging multiple lines of business within enterprise accounts

Requirements

  • Have a BA BS from a top university or equivalent.
  • Possess 1-3 Years of sales experience or business development experience in a SaaS organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders and tell a compelling story.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A results-driven attitude with a strong desire to compete and exceed targets.
  • Highly coachable and eager to learn.
  • This role requires working in a hybrid environment with employees expected to be in-office 3 days per week.
  • Ability to effectively multithread different lines of business within complex enterprise accounts to build broad support and consensus.

Base salary range of $58,500 to $60,000 USD in New York
