Job Description
A Business Development Representative at Celonis is responsible for identifying and creating new enterprise business opportunities, evangelizing the company's Process Intelligence Platform, and building relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive sales growth within designated territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and create new enterprise business opportunities in assigned accounts
- Act as a champion for the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, demonstrating its value to customers
- Use modern tools and strategies to prospect and connect with prospective clients via cold calls, email, and social channels
- Generate sales pipeline by setting up qualified meetings and expanding customer relationships
- Manage a defined territory by developing new accounts and growing existing customer relationships
- Collaborate with sales to define account strategies and with marketing to promote campaigns and follow up on leads
- Support complex sales cycles by engaging multiple lines of business within enterprise accounts to build support and consensus
Requirements
- Have a BA or BS degree from a top university or equivalent.
- Possess 1-3 years of sales experience or business development experience in a SaaS organization.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders and tell a compelling story.
- Be able to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Have a results-driven attitude with a strong desire to compete and exceed targets.
- Be highly coachable and eager to learn.
- Be responsible for a defined territory, developing new accounts and expanding relationships with existing customers to maximize market potential.
- Collaborate with sales to define and execute account-based strategies.
- Partner with marketing to promote campaigns and events and follow up on new leads.
- Support complex sales cycles by effectively multithreading different lines of business within complex enterprise accounts to build broad support and consensus.
- Be willing to work in a hybrid role, with in-office presence expected 3 days per week.
