Job Description
A Business Analyst at Celonis is responsible for analyzing business data, developing insights, and creating data tools to support strategic decision-making and process optimization across various internal teams, leveraging process mining and business intelligence technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, process, and analyze business data to support organizational goals
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through quality checks and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor performance and identify improvements
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Enable teams to effectively use analytics tools by translating data metrics into business context
- Collaborate on projects to improve data ingestion, quality, modeling, and tool effectiveness
Requirements
- Completed your studies in Data Science, Engineering, mathematics, statistics or a comparable degree program with outstanding performance
- 3 years of experience in working with data ingestion, data transformations, databases and BI solutions to analyze and visualize business insights and ideally have experience applying this in a SaaS business context and typical SaaS metrics and processes
- Proven work experience in writing performing queries in SQL and optimized and efficient code in Python for data extraction, transformation and automation
- Strong analytical thinking, ability to work in a structured manner, and quickly comprehend new topics and complex interrelationships to present and explain them to stakeholders in a reliable and independent manner
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate alignment and prioritization of initiatives through a collaborative, communicative, and open environment that promotes teamwork towards shared objectives
- Demonstrated capability in managing complex tasks, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining accountability
- Effective communication skills and proactiveness to bridge the gap between technical data language and business objectives
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
