The role involves leading the billing team within a global SaaS company, managing complex invoicing processes, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, and driving system improvements to optimize the order-to-cash workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the billing team within the Financial Shared Service Hub
Supervise daily bill runs and review/approve draft invoices for high-value deals
Define daily priorities and support operational activities of the billing team
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and seamless order-to-cash workflows
Build reports and track metrics to monitor billing accuracy and meet closing deadlines
Troubleshoot and resolve complex billing disputes and operational roadblocks
Support internal and external audits by maintaining compliance, data integrity, and documentation standards
Drive system improvements in billing tools and ERP platforms
Manage complex invoicing processes across multiple billing entities
Connect executed contracts with revenue realization and standardize order-to-cash processes
Requirements
A BA or BS degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
At least 4 years of proven experience in a fast-paced billing, order-to-cash, or financial operations role.
Deep system expertise using core billing and enterprise platforms, specifically Zuora Billing, Salesforce, and Workday.
Decisiveness under pressure, with the ability to make sound, swift decisions to consistently meet narrow deadlines especially during month and quarter-end close.
Strong negotiation and alignment skills, bringing the experience and confidence needed to resolve disputes and close agreements with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for proactive ways to optimize workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and scale global billing processes.
A target-driven and collaborative approach, being highly goal-oriented while fostering a positive team environment.
Strong business communication skills, requiring a high level of professional English proficiency.
