Job Description
The ERP Engineer at Celonis supports and enhances the company's financial systems, working on solution design, system improvements, and integration to optimize finance and accounting processes using various tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical expertise to drive solution design for financial systems
- Resolve finance systems ticket backlog
- Design and develop enhancements for finance systems
- Lead rollout and adoption of new system functionalities
- Develop custom reports for financial data analysis
- Oversee integration design of financial systems
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders
- Support evaluation and updates of software tools to meet business needs
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Finance, Accounting, Computer Science OR 0-2 years of relevant experience perhaps from an internship or a finance IT operations role.
- Understanding of accounting and finance processes such as procurement, Accounts Payable (AP), month end close, fixed assets, Invoicing Accounts Receivable (AR), revenue, Trial Expenses (T E), and financial reporting.
- A strong, demonstrated interest in technology and business processes, with curiosity about how systems help a company run.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to break down a problem and ask questions.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to clearly explain issues, along with being a team player.
- Eagerness to learn new systems and processes, with a willingness to dive in and learn on the job.
