Job Description
An Associate Applied AI Engineer at Celonis supports customer engagements by developing AI-driven solutions, demonstrating the value of Process Intelligence technology, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to drive business improvements through innovative AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer engagements by collaborating with clients to identify business challenges and demonstrate how Celonis Process Intelligence can address them
- Execute proof of concept projects, quantify business value, and present findings to senior executives to facilitate investment decisions
- Prototype and develop AI solutions tailored to customer needs, including machine learning, LLM-based solutions, and orchestration technology
- Drive change management and ensure value realization to achieve positive return on investment for clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through technical, product, and business expertise, acting as a trusted advisor
- Share customer insights and feedback with internal product and engineering teams to influence AI product development
- Create reusable collateral, best practices, and tools within the Global VE Center of Excellence
Requirements
- A bachelor's and/or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, AI ML, Mathematics or other related fields, as well as valuable work internship experience.
- Ability to think analytically and creatively, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems.
- Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in SQL and/or Python.
- Willingness to travel to the UK region to meet clients in person.
- Effective communication skills and fluency in English.
- Passion for technology, data, and AI and the impact it can have on the world.
- Curiosity, self-motivation, and enjoyment of continuous learning.
- Ability to rapidly develop solutions and pilots using the platform and AI technologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to support customer engagements by collaborating with customers to uncover core business challenges and determine how Celonis Process Intelligence can help achieve business objectives and AI strategy.
- Ability to execute proof projects, frame a quantitative business value, and deliver presentations to senior executives to drive investment decisions.
- Capability to prototype and develop AI solutions tailored to customer needs, including traditional machine learning, LLM-based solutions, and orchestration technology.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers by winning their trust through technical, product expertise, and business acumen.
- Ability to create re-usable collateral, best practices, and tools within the Global VE Center of Excellence and share feedback with regional teams.
