Job Description
An Applied AI Engineer at Celonis supports customer engagements by developing AI solutions, demonstrating the value of Process Mining technology, and collaborating with clients to solve business challenges through innovative data-driven approaches. The role involves technical solution development, customer relationship management, and contributing to product innovation within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nordics Value Engineering team on customer engagements
- Collaborate with customers to identify business challenges and demonstrate how Celonis Process Intelligence can address them
- Execute proof projects to showcase value, develop business cases, and present to senior executives
- Prototype and develop AI solutions tailored to customer needs, including machine learning and LLM-based solutions
- Drive change management and ensure positive return on investment for customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor
- Share customer insights with internal teams to influence product development
- Create reusable collateral, best practices, and tools within the Global VE Center of Excellence
- Travel to meet clients in the Nordics region to support customer success
Requirements
- A bachelor's and/or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, AI ML, Mathematics or other related fields, as well as valuable work internship experience.
- Ability to think analytically and creatively, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems.
- Experience or basic knowledge in SQL and/or Python.
- Willingness to travel to the Nordics region to meet clients in person.
- Fluency in English and in Finnish, Danish, Swedish or other Nordics language.
- Effective communication skills suitable for presenting to C-level executives and larger audiences.
- Ability to build relationships with senior management and influence decision-makers.
- Curiosity, self-motivation, and enjoyment of continuous learning.
- Ability to rapidly develop solutions and pilots using the platform and AI technologies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to support customer engagements by supporting proof projects, developing AI solutions, and supporting change management and value realization.
- Ability to collaborate with customers to uncover core business challenges and determine how Celonis Process Intelligence can help achieve business objectives.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations and demonstrations of value to senior executives.
- Willingness to participate in a 12-month Orbit Graduate Program designed to develop VE skills and competencies.
- Exposure to process mining principles and completion of Celonis Rising Star modules is a welcome indicator of eagerness to develop in this field.
