Job Description
An Associate Applied AI Engineer at Celonis supports customer engagements by developing AI-driven process intelligence solutions, demonstrating value through proof projects, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to drive digital transformation and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the DACH Value Engineering team on customer engagements
- Collaborate with customers to identify business challenges and demonstrate how Celonis Process Intelligence can address them
- Execute proof projects to showcase value, quantify business benefits, and present findings to senior executives
- Prototype and develop AI solutions tailored to customer needs, including machine learning and LLM-based solutions
- Drive change management and ensure positive return on investment for customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor
- Share customer insights and feedback with internal product and engineering teams to influence AI product development
- Create reusable collateral, best practices, and tools within the Global VE Center of Excellence
- Travel to meet clients in the DACH region to support customer success
Requirements
- A bachelor's and/or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, AI/ML, Mathematics, or other related fields, as well as valuable work internship experience.
- Ability to think analytically and creatively, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems.
- Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in SQL and/or Python.
- Any exposure to process mining principles and completion of Celonis Rising Star modules would be a welcome indicator of eagerness to develop in this field.
- Willingness to travel to the DACH region to meet clients in person.
- Fluency in German and English, with effective communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with senior management and influence decision-makers.
- Confidence to present to C-level executives and larger audiences.
- Enjoy solving problems, think outside the box, and learn from mistakes in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity, self-motivation, and enjoyment of continuous learning.
- Ability to rapidly develop solutions and pilots using the platform and AI technologies.
- Strong interest in technology, data, and AI and their impact on the world.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to create and share re-usable collateral and best practices within the team.
