Job Description
The Applied Value Engineer at Celonis is responsible for understanding customer needs, developing AI-driven process improvement solutions, demonstrating value to stakeholders, and driving adoption and expansion of the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform to deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Conduct value assessments and communicate strategic value to C-Level executives
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
- Develop and execute end-to-end customer value strategies for adoption, expansion, and renewal
- Provide feedback to product teams for platform and app enhancements based on customer use cases
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role such as Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP and Oracle, with experience in implementing RPA and/or BI Tools and/or building Dashboards, Apps and Action Flows.
- Hands-on experience with Process Mining tools and technologies is preferred.
- Hands-on SQL experience and Python experience is preferred.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying business use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Domain and industry knowledge such as Supply Chain, Finance, CPG, BFSI, Manufacturing, etc., would be a plus.
- Project management experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, managing multiple projects at different stages of the value journey, and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
