Job Description
The Applied Value Engineer at Celonis is responsible for driving data-driven business transformation by helping customers identify, quantify, and realize value from the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform through process analysis, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases
- Support customers and partners in building business cases and driving platform adoption
- Assess and communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives
- Guide customers on using Celonis to identify process improvement opportunities
- Drive process enhancement initiatives and enterprise-wide change measures
- Manage the customer value journey, including expansion, adoption, and renewals
- Develop strategic roadmaps embedding Celonis Process Intelligence in customer organizations
- Provide feedback to product teams for platform and app enhancements based on use cases
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Customer Success, Sales Engineering, or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP, with experience in implementing RPA and/or BI Tools, and/or building Dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows.
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, managing multiple projects across different parts of the value journey, and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally, with excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain as well as strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- A degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable degree program.
