Canonical is seeking Travel Operations Specialists to manage and support global travel arrangements for colleagues and guests, ensuring smooth logistics for company meetings and events while maintaining vendor relationships and compliance with travel policies.
Key Responsibilities
Address travel queries and issues for colleagues and guests
Collaborate with the business services team on company and industry event plans
Manage relationships with travel vendors to ensure quality service
Verify invoices for accurate charges and process payments, credits, and refunds
Monitor travel trends, spend, emissions, and policy compliance
Track unused tickets, credits, and airline points usage
Requirements
Excellent academic results at school and university
A degree in a business or technical subject
Excellent communication skills
Responsible and accountable
Self-awareness and thoughtfulness
Ability to travel up to four times a year for company events of up to two weeks duration
Ability to learn new technology and software quickly
