Job Description
A regional marketing manager responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns across EMEA for Canonical's open source software products, focusing on technology solutions such as cloud, security, and IoT, while collaborating with sales, product, and partner teams in a remote, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Canonical's offerings across EMEA.
- Translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for target industries and personas.
- Build and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with solution-specific goals.
- Collaborate with product management, sales, alliances, and marketing teams to align messaging and prioritize use cases.
- Define, track, and monitor KPIs for demand generation, solution awareness, and engagement, and iterate strategies accordingly.
- Plan, execute, and coordinate webinars and industry events related to solution areas.
- Work with growth engineering teams to segment, engage, and nurture audiences around relevant themes.
- Support sales enablement by delivering playbooks, messaging guides, competitive briefs, and customer-facing content.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B marketing for enterprise IT products and SaaS experience
- Experience working with the EMEA market
- Excellent academic results, with Bachelor s or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or STEM
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation skills in English
- Hands-on mindset and ability to test various marketing assumptions attributing to scaling the most efficient ways of achieving positive marketing results
- Growth mindset - enthusiasm for challenges and work ethic with a can do attitude
- Objectivity and openness to others views while continuously building a positive team spirit
- Proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
