This role involves developing strategic partnerships with semiconductor companies to optimize hardware and software integration, drive joint product development, and facilitate go-to-market initiatives, all within a remote, globally distributed team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Represent Canonical and its solutions to silicon partners
Develop understanding of silicon partner strategies, technologies, and roadmaps
Identify overlaps with Canonical's products and opportunities for collaboration
Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to facilitate new business and define joint solutions
Create, track, and execute robust project plans for partnerships
Develop joint go-to-market strategies and manage related campaigns and messaging
Negotiate contracts with silicon partners
Requirements
B.A, B.S, B.E degree in science, technology and or engineering
Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem
Experience in software and system architecture is preferred
Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy or similar functions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to grasp complex material and synthesize key points
Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels
Disciplined and self motivated for a remote-first workplace environment
