Job Description
This role involves developing strategic partnerships with semiconductor companies to optimize hardware and software integration, drive joint product development, and facilitate go-to-market initiatives, all within a remote, globally distributed team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Canonical and its solutions to silicon partners
- Develop understanding of silicon partner strategies, technologies, and roadmaps
- Identify overlaps with Canonical's products and opportunities for collaboration
- Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to facilitate new business and define joint solutions
- Create, track, and execute robust project plans for partnerships
- Develop joint go-to-market strategies and manage related campaigns and messaging
- Negotiate contracts with silicon partners
Requirements
- B.A, B.S, B.E degree in science, technology and or engineering
- Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem
- Experience in software and system architecture is preferred
- Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy or similar functions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to grasp complex material and synthesize key points
- Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels
- Disciplined and self motivated for a remote-first workplace environment
