Job Description
This role involves developing a fully managed, open-source MongoDB deployment solution using Python, focusing on reliability, security, and multi-cloud or on-premise environments, with significant contributions to open-source projects at Canonical.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a fully managed MongoDB solution based on Juju
- Build reliable and secure deployment methods for MongoDB on various platforms
- Manage and operate MongoDB clusters in mission-critical environments
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management processes
- Contribute to the development and testing of the MongoDB deployment product
Requirements
- Be an accomplished senior Python programmer that enjoys challenging projects in mission-critical environments.
- Have experience operating and managing MongoDB clusters.
- Be experienced with modern infrastructure deployment automations or with traditional Linux systems administration, operations, and package management.
- Be passionate about quality and automatic testing.
