A leadership role in Revenue Operations responsible for managing and optimizing sales processes, data, and systems across global channels to drive revenue growth and efficiency for Canonical.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize revenue operations across direct, indirect, and online sales channels
Lead and develop a team of revenue operations analysts to support sales and partners
Drive sales engagement, training, data enrichment, CRM, configure price quote, analytics, and commissions processes
Measure, analyze, and improve revenue policies and processes across teams
Provide metrics and reporting to monitor and enhance revenue effectiveness
Use data insights to manage territories, channels, and sales productivity, and implement actionable improvements
Oversee sales technology, automation, and process improvements in collaboration with systems engineering
Introduce and manage new products, pricing, packaging, and quoting systems
Ensure data quality through order processing, training, documentation, reporting, and data cleansing
Lead commercial review processes for sales and alliance opportunities
Own and manage the sales commission plan, including goal setting, evaluation, and payments
Requirements
Experience operating in a leadership Revenue Operations role, driving effectiveness of direct, channel and alliance partnerships
Data-driven and analytical approach with a high attention to detail
Track record of providing insight through robust CRM and other Revenue Operations technology platforms, data, analytics, compensation systems and processes to deliver excellent revenue operations
Comfort with commercial pressure, and the ability to put revenue teams under appropriate performance pressure
Organisational skills and the ability to interact and work with stakeholders within all levels of the organisation
Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
Undergraduate degree in a related field, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics, or a compelling narrative about an alternative path
Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
Ability to travel internationally up to four times a year for company events up to two weeks long
