Job Description
A Sales Development Representative at Canonical is responsible for generating and nurturing leads, engaging with prospective customers, executing marketing campaigns, and collaborating with teams to identify sales opportunities in the tech industry, with opportunities for travel and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
- Execute outbound sales marketing campaigns
- Travel to events and conferences to promote products and generate sales opportunities
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other teams to drive results
- Research prospective customers and market trends
- Identify sales prospects and opportunities
- Maintain and nurture leads on global opportunities
- Attend meetings with new and existing customers to identify new sales opportunities
- Contribute to defining team processes and policies
