Job Description
A Sales Development Representative at Canonical is responsible for generating and nurturing leads, engaging with prospective customers, and supporting sales and marketing efforts to promote Canonical's open-source enterprise solutions across various industries and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
- Execute outbound sales marketing campaigns
- Travel to events and conferences to promote products and generate sales opportunities
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other teams to drive results
- Research prospective customers and market trends
- Identify prospects and develop a sales pipeline
- Attend meetings with new and existing customers to identify opportunities
- Create, update, and nurture leads on global opportunities
