Job Description
The Business Systems Engineer at Canonical will develop engineering solutions in systems like NetSuite and Salesforce, collaborating with teams to implement business processes and ensure compliance, while striving for high engineering quality and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems
- Collaborate with colleagues on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews
- Learn Canonical business processes
- Coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback depending on seniority
- Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices
Requirements
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path.
- Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM ERP systems.
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
- Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year, for company events up to two weeks long.
