Job Description
A Marketing Manager at Canonical is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and sales for their open source software products, working collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning and campaign execution across portfolios, territories, or verticals
- Develop and implement marketing programs to engage prospects and drive opportunities and revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve content performance and conversion through data-driven insights
- Partner with events, content, paid media, and social media teams to execute integrated campaigns across channels
Requirements
- Experience in a marketing role in the technology sector, with SaaS or enterprise IT experience preferred.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to evaluate performance and optimize for impact.
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution, demonstrating self-starting capabilities.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft messaging that resonates with both technical and business audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable, fast learner with a growth mindset and a passion for innovation.
