Job Description
A Marketing Manager role focused on developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and sales for Canonical's open source software products, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration in a remote, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning and campaign execution across portfolios, territories, or verticals
- Develop and manage marketing programs to engage prospects and drive opportunities and revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve content performance and conversion through data-driven insights
- Partner with events, content, paid media, and social media teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns
Requirements
- Experience in a marketing role in the technology sector, with SaaS or enterprise IT experience preferred.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to evaluate performance and optimize for impact.
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution, demonstrating being a true self-starter.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft messaging that resonates with both technical and business audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable, fast learner with a growth mindset and a passion for innovation.
