A Junior Project Manager at Canonical is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of complex software projects by coordinating stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring projects meet schedule, scope, and budget expectations in a dynamic, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, and resources
Identify and mitigate technical and project risks and issues
Maintain strong customer focus and collaborate with stakeholders for successful outcomes
Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers
Support the delivery schedule of third-party project deliverables
Advocate appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio to customers
Requirements
Solid academic achievement in science, software engineering, and/or information technology field
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
Solution-oriented mindset
Ability to make things happen with a professional approach and effective negotiation techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills in school or university life
Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about an alternative chosen path
Confidence to respectfully speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation
