The role involves leading Canonical's global alliances with System Integrators, developing strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and promoting open source solutions at enterprise levels, primarily through GSI channels and collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive GSI partner strategy, forecast, bookings, and revenues for Canonical
Lead and develop a team to achieve revenue growth with GSI partners
Build and maintain strategic relationships with GSI partners at executive levels
Guide product management and marketing efforts to support GSI offerings
Manage all business interactions with GSI partners, including sales cycles and strategic opportunities
Promote GSI-related activities through campaigns, events, and executive summits
Ensure Canonical solutions are embedded in GSI digital transformation platforms
Requirements
Experience in alliance and indirect sales management roles
Experience in the GSI (Global System Integrator) sector
Deep commercial experience encompassing revenue and margins
Proven leadership and presentation skills
Insight into open source, Ubuntu, and Canonical’s competition and opportunities
Track record of data-driven decision-making
An autonomous, disciplined, hands-on, get-it-done mentality
