The Head of Cloud Alliances at Canonical leads global business development and partnership efforts with public cloud providers, driving strategy, revenue growth, and collaborative innovation to expand Canonical's presence in the cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of Canonical's global cloud partner strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with cloud partners at all levels, including executive relationships
Drive efforts to forecast, increase bookings, and grow revenue through cloud alliances
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure unified technology and market execution
Guide teams to achieve revenue growth with cloud partners and refine partnership strategies
Manage joint go-to-market activities, including campaigns, strategic opportunities, and events
Own and lead all business interactions with cloud partners, including strategy, sales, and promotion
Align product management and marketing strategies to scale cloud partnership success
Requirements
An in-depth understanding of open source technologies, Ubuntu, and the competitive ecosystem, with an eye for identifying opportunities that others might miss.
A track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results.
Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
An undergraduate degree in a technical subject.
