The Events Marketing Manager at Canonical is responsible for developing and executing global event strategies, managing logistics and budgets, and collaborating with various teams to maximize event effectiveness in a remote, B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a long-term event strategy across EMEA and Americas
Identify and prioritize events for participation based on research and team input
Manage event logistics, including sourcing deals, budgeting, and execution
Set KPIs to measure event effectiveness and optimize future events
Provide logistical support for global events, including occasional travel
Collaborate with sales, partner alliances, product marketing, design, and other teams
Monitor and adjust event budgets and spending
Create systems to improve event effectiveness over time
Requirements
Experience in B2B events organisation including trade shows, customer events, and webinars.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or STEM fields.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
Hands-on mindset and a passion for experimentation.
