Key Responsibilities
Engage with customers during presales to gather requirements and explain technology solutions
Elaborate and propose embedded Linux solutions to prospective clients
Participate in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux
Convey market requirements to internal stakeholders and contribute to solution development
Act as a customer advocate and trusted advisor to Canonical
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
Extensive Linux experience, with a preference for Debian or Ubuntu
Solid embedded Linux experience, including familiarity with Yocto, Buildroot, or RTOS
Fluency in at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
Professional written and spoken English language skills
Ability to communicate and present effectively
Result-oriented mindset with the ability to multi-task
Personal drive to meet commitments
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences
For positions in Japan and Korea, ability to speak and write the local language at a professional level
Experience with low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software development methodologies
