A leadership role within Canonical's Talent Science team, responsible for driving strategic talent acquisition projects, designing talent selection frameworks, coaching team members, and collaborating with senior leadership to ensure high-performance hiring outcomes in a remote, EMEA-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver the strategic Talent Science project roadmap, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Design and implement solutions to complex talent selection and hiring challenges.
Ensure talent selection initiatives align with high performance outcomes and career frameworks.
Develop and optimize processes and frameworks for efficient talent acquisition and assessment.
Coach and mentor team members to enhance their analytical skills and thought leadership capabilities.
Act as a credible advisor and leader in the absence of the Head of Talent Science.
Collaborate with company leaders to communicate and align on talent vision and strategies.
Requirements
Experience of working with career frameworks and hiring outcomes is an essential requirement of this role.
Proven ability to coach and mentor a team to deliver exceptional results.
Experience of leading and delivering the strategic Talent Science project roadmap using exceptional project management capability and influencing skills to manage multiple projects at any given time.
Deep understanding of selection, career frameworks and building internal products to ensure that talent selection criteria matches desired outcomes.
Advanced analytical ability to dissect and analyse data using either SQL, Python and or statistical analysis.
Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university, with an undergraduate degree in a psychology or people based subject.
A track record of team leadership within the technology or consulting industry.
Ability to travel internationally 4 times a year for company events.
