Job Description
A content marketing team manager responsible for developing and executing content strategies, managing content production, ensuring quality and SEO optimization, and leading a team to enhance brand positioning within a technology and open source environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content marketing strategy aligned with business goals, SEO, and brand positioning
- Manage the end-to-end content calendar to ensure efficient content production
- Ensure content quality, consistency, and brand alignment across all materials
- Collaborate with web and growth engineering teams to optimize content for search engines
- Supervise quarterly content planning sessions and coordinate with content specialists, product management, and marketing teams
- Monitor and report on content KPIs, using analytics to identify areas for improvement
- Align messaging to support integrated campaigns across multiple channels
Requirements
- At least 5 years of work experience in content or related roles, preferably at technology companies, with 2 years of experience as a manager or team lead.
- Proven experience creating authoritative and engaging content.
- Portfolio of written work required.
- Applied knowledge of SEO, experience with SEO tools and SEO-driven content calendars.
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills with the ability to create highly efficient processes for content production and reuse.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a relevant discipline.
- Someone who is passionate about technology and open source.
- A problem solver who does not shy away from taking on challenges and sees projects through to completion.
- Attention to detail and appreciation for standards; values quality and accuracy but can adapt quickly when the need arises.
